WHO IS ACCELERATION WEAR?
Our company was founded by two men who want to help people live better lives. What started out as a journey to get a marketing partner for racing has turned into an overnight success story. Josh Reeves and Pete Todich started working together in May of 2012. They worked long and hard hours, and contacted many companies to work out a deal to get Josh on the race track in an ARCA series race car. It was a long, tough road, with many bumps along the way. A few leads made things look like there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately, those deals fell through. When all hope was lost, they gave up and went home.
Wait. Stop. Rewind. That's not how it ended! Back to how those deals fell through.
Unfortunately, those deals fell through. So Josh and Pete, mostly Josh, had an idea. If we can't get the sponsors to come to us, let's do this ourselves! So, they hit the drawing board, texting every day about ideas, slogans, and brands. Sometimes, their only texts to each other were slogan ideas. This went on for a couple months, and then Acceleration Wear was born! An idea turned into reality because two people NEVER GAVE UP! Two people NEVER STOPPED WORKING HARD! Two people pushed through the hard times and wanted to make something better. It was started because of inspiration, and that is the core of our company!

Headline News
On May 23rd, Josh Reeves will be getting back in the seat of an ARCA Series race car. He will be competing in the No Fear Energy Competition, in Kentucky, as a driver. Over the span of two days (May 23-24) there will be a variety of competitions being held, for crew members and drivers alike. Josh will be driving a car for C2M during this time. The winner of the driver series, will get a two race deal in the ARCA Series, a short track and a speedway race. We recently had a chance to sit down with Josh and ask him about the chance to hop back into a race car:
AW: Are you nervous about getting back in a race car for the No Fear driver challenge?
JR: Kind of. I'm more excited than anything. I'm just ready to kick some butt.
AW: What type of track is Kentucky?
JR: Its a rough track. Moderately banked. Bumpy and worn out. You have to really be up on the wheel to run fast there.
AW: What is your Favorite track to run at?
JR: Hopefully Kentucky! I haven't driven at many tracks, but Talladega was probably the most fun of all.
AW: What is the biggest thing you're looking to gain from being a part of the driver challenge?
JR: The prize! Two ARCA races. I need to win this, if I don't, I more than likely wont run this year. Most have funding and can run, I have no funding to run.
AW: If you could sit down with one driver (past or present) and pick their brain for driving tips, who would it be?
JR: Dale Earnhardt Sr, The man was magic, an old school driver. Someone who worked their way there and earned it.
AW: Is there any last things you would like to say to the fans?
JR: Suggest me to sponsors!! Anyone and everyone needs to refer me to a company.
We are extremly excited to see Josh get back to the track and cant wait to see how he does in Kentucky next month!
